Which case prep station is built to last?

Among the consumer priced (whatever that means) case prep stations are there any, or one, that doesn’t have plastic gears or other tragic faults. No doubt there are motorized prep stations that are built like Fort Knox and cost appropriately, but that’s not in my budget. I’m talking the Hornady, Lyman and RCBS kind of stuff. Aside from the “buy once cry once” products, where’s the quality found?

There is one that is absolutely BULLET PROOF, it is called "Fast Brass". Look it up on YouTube and watch a few videos>>>it is built like an M1Abrams tank!

Shoot dots watched some of the video on fast brass 50. Does he have a website?
You know, I really don't know. I have had mine for 3 years and it is really something to behold. You can turn necks, trim, chamfer etc..etc.. and it is made of heavy-duty everything. I saw it on YouTube and called the fellow and after much discussion, I bought one. I don't have his ph# anymore and I don't know about a web-site... I am sorry..

I’m not being smart at all, I promise, but what are these machines really good for? I’m thinking high volume prep on pistol or semi auto brass? I never could get enough precision out of mine to make me feel like it was worth the trouble, although it would and still does clean the hell out of some primer pockets.

Colony rodent shooting involves around 100-200 rounds per day. Load for a week’s worth and automation starts sounding REALLY nice!

I rarely use it but the RCBS has lasted over 2 decades, loud as crap but it will last. At least the older ones will, the newer ones might be throw aways now though.

I've got a Lyman , had it about 2 years now. It's quiet, but I'll have to report back in another 10 years or so to see if it's still going. :)
