Being fully honest; with the current situation in politics, I find my 222 Sporter getting the most use.

My ol 788 is a laser with an accurate load. Shoots well, loads nice, responds to any and all accurizing tricks, lower cost components. Best of all; I can then develop the impossible process of casting bullets and have yet another process challenge! (Others would say it's a choose your level of frustration)

22BR Imp. 40° has a long neck to accommodate the longer bullets.

This is one of the most 'surprising rifles' I've ever owned:

22-250 Krieger 28" Heavy barrel, 1-7" twist and 90 gr. Sierra bullets ahead of 35.5 grs. H4350! BAD coyote medicine and two years ago I shot a 200# whitetail behind the right shoulder from 242 yards and at the crack of the rifle his nose hit the dirt....never even kicked!!

out of the box thinking, try a 243 super rock chucker (6mm/06) and a 6.5/06 Ack IMP. Both are very flat shooting and also good long range deer and varmint guns.

Hi just a old 222 Remington and to make folks look a 375 H&H. Both are fun to shoot off a bench.
