If you have limited experience with putting together a build, ballistics, etc. I would recommend .22br. However PPC is fantastic. What action will you be using, or have you decided? I would not go with one of the wildcats offered in this thread, though it would be great fun.

That would leave 2 choices- 1/the .22 PPC USA -Norma offers brass and 2/ the .220 Beggs - just load up Lapua .220 Russian, fireforming to .220 Beggs dimensions is very subtle. Gene Beggs offers .220 dies at reasonable cost.
