What's your fun gun?

It's all good, but for fun I like shooting sporting clays. It doesn't get much better than going out in the morning with a few friends and having a good time. Of course, a good lunch afterwards is a must.

I shoot a couple of Berettas, a DT-10 and a Beretta/Briley 391. Fine shotguns.

My Mossberg 44US, I enjoy accurate 22's anyway and the Mossberg is just fun for me. I also enjoy old Remington 22's. I've started rebuilding old Remington's and giving them to new shooters as a starter.

Went to range today with 3 of my 22 rifles. A Ruger 10/22, a Marlin XT22 and a BSA model 12. The Ruger and Marlin are scoped and the BSA has its original Parker Hale globe front sight and micrometer rear peep sight. LOL, I can shoot a better 50 yd group with my very old martini action BSA. To me that's fun.

Browning Buckmark Camper .22lr.

Went to the garage this afternoon zapped another squirel with my .17 Diana pellet gun I get more shooting in and more small varmints with it than anything. Plus i'm in the middle of town and no problems yet. And the best part is dropping a squirel on the neighbors when they are barbequing good times.

I look for excuses to shoot my home brewed AR-15 Varmint rifle. The 12 twist barrel puts 52 grain SMK or 52 grain AMAX bullets in the 4's with a best group of .260". A fun varmint gun and I shoot 200 yard steel Silhouettes as well.

i'll play.

I like toying with my Remington 591m and 592m 5mm's. I have both rimfire and centerfire bolt heads so I can blast away some cheap rimfire ammo or goof around tuning a teeny tiny centerfire 5mm rounds.

Suppressed AR-15 SBR running doubletap drills until either my back gives out and/or, I just run out of ammo!

Remington 597. Great gun cheap and easy to use. Have a small Nikon scope on it. At 100 yards it like a poor mans high power. The kids love it and I have never had a single problem with it. I know I should clean it a lot more than I do, which is maybe twice a year, but I have to give Remington there props for this rifle.

for me it's a Springfield 03 with a weaver 4x. I shoot steel out to 300 yrds. BANG & CLANG my two favorite sounds(at the range)!!!!

Rem 700 VS (old) in 6-47L. Plink steel out to 1100 and switch out the stock and use it as a backup 1K gun. This is the gun I want to get a suppressor for.

BIG FUN!!!

I have this old Spanish Mauser Model 93 action with a 7X57 barrel, an aftermarket laminated stock, and a 1.75X4 Bushnell scope. It only shoots about 2-3 MOA but with lite 139 gr bullets and a mild load of AA4350 it is great fun shooting at the gongs at the range and it has almost no recoil. It's a truck gun but a lot of fun to shoot.

My favorite fun gun to shoot is my Savage 20 VarTarg. Accurate out past 500 yards, no recoil and you can see the hits & misses in the scope for all the fun.

I dunno. I guess they are all fun guns in their own way. Probably the one that gets the most use, behind a CZ452, is an old Tula 1941 SVT40. Ammo is stacked deep in the garage, and it is inexpensive to shoot, and accurate enough to be interesting.

Funny, I don't classify my match rifles in that "fun" category. Fact is, my match rifles sort of intimidate me, as they reveal my shortcomings as a marksman. LOL. As I write this, I start to wonder whether I will find my match rifles to be "fun" as they become shot out and lose that gilded edge of accuracy... and I can begin to blame them for errant shots... LOL.

This is my fun gun, i shot a rabbit a couple weeks ago at 130 yards with it.

Ooooooohhh....I love those! Only if they were belt fed.......

There's a Gatling conversion kit for the Ruger 10/22...I think it uses 2 rifles though.
Would definitely be the ultimate "fun gun" :)

.32 cal with 42" barrel, built by my uncle. I don't shoot it as much as I like, getting black powder is challenging, but its a blast to shoot. This kind of rifle will teach you how to follow through with the shot.
