What's your dream build for the new year?

Weigh up the parts you have on hand..Let Chris know the finished weight you want, he can turn the barrel to the correct contour to get the weight you want..Way Back when, before the WSS 300 mag..The 300 Winchester was some fine rig for long range..I'm glad to see you have interest in that old school caliber..I think the 1-10 twist is good enough but let Chris tell you for certain..Good luck with your project..Ringing steel at 1000yds is some fun...Mike in Ct
Maybe I should go with the 300 wssm instead? What you think ? I'm open to suggestions for long range

Again, let Chris tell you, I'm old & my opinion might not be as relevant today..I was just saying 30 yrs ago my cousins 300WM was something at 1K yds ..He killed a deer flat out with it & 180 gr bullet...The kid could shoot...Mike in ct

Wow what a shot(the kid could shoot is right) Not the best of glass thirty years ago either. I will call Chris for sure for the barrel and info

Frankie, my younger cousin was a Capt. in the army back then..He made the rifle team every year. They were on base/range in Alabama or very close to it..I was not happy to hear he attempted that shot from the hood of a truck..He knew the distance & his rifle very well...God took him too early from us last year..RIP..mike in ct

Amazing shot on a deer, sorry about your cousin Mike

I'm thinking I might toss together a 20 Tac on a predator action. Haven't thought much past that, but I need a few more smaller caliber rifles in my bunch.

I already have a dream rifle....BAT B/Leonard stock/Vortex Golden Eagle/ barrels in 6 PPC, 6 Dasher, and 6 BRA. The rifle has a good history.....BUT I get the urge for something new. Maybe a 6 BRA on Kelbly's new Black Bear or Jim Borden's new BB action. However, limited resources will require me to keep shooting the old BAT. James

I’m really starting to like the Specialty Pistol world. I participated in my first match last summer and it was a blast. My xp-100 Shot well but was difficult to shoot in a match environment. The xp-100’s are all right hand bolt which is great for a right hand rifle but as a pistol they work much better for a lefty. I want to build an xp-100 style pistol on an undesignated Left Hand Remington 700 action. I have a Krieger 18” 300wsm barrel that will go on it and since it will have to be a magnum bolt face I might as well chamber a 6.5 saum to go with it as well.

Project for near future hopefully!!!

Stolle F Class Panda right bolt, left port, right micro eject glued into one of Alex Wheelers new Long Range BR McMillan stocks, Bix n Andy trigger, Kreiger HV Barrel, Nightforce Scope and rings. Chambered in 6BRA... Its a dream for now....

Cheers Rushty

I'm finally going to put together a 6br repeater on a Tikka 595 action. Nothing too lofty. I started to wonder what other guys here were dreaming of building in the new year. Share your ideas, please.
Anschutz 1771 in .222 with GRS Hybrid stock, threaded heavy barrel, and two stage trigger done up by the ANA custom shop.

No idea if they’ll do it but if anyone else finds this interesting please call them too.
