One of my '06's is a Whitworth with a 24 inch bbl. It'll put a five shot group easily in an inch, and that's with an almost 70 year old codger shooting it.30-06 is fine, I like it with a good muzzle brake on

No, my FL die is set up to bump shoulder minimally.....set up using L.E. Wilson Guage. I was also running mid range loads....190 sierras with H4350. Would get 4 firings before I could tell that a separation was in the worksAre you pushing your shoulders back too far?
