Whats up with Surgeon on their scope rings link from this site attached below.

Several weeks ago I emailed with interest in one or two sets of these rings from the gear review page here on accurateshooter.com. (see link) I never got a response to my email. So today I called and got a nonchalant answer about we are not sure when they would ship etc. I said a week, month, year? She said yes. So I said ok whats up too many orders or what. No we are not sure we are going to make them they are a low profit item. I said raise the price then and she said then no one will buy them. I suggest this article be removed as I really wanted these rings from what is known to be a high end company. Is this the way they do business I mean on the phone and email they didn't give a darn? I mean didn't answer my email in a very reasonable time and didn't care about my call one bit. Just say I am sorry we messed up we cant supply these or something. I said raise the price it seemed stupid to me. I was not expecting this from them so I am a bit ticked. Can anyone here suggest similar rings made anywhere? I really liked the built in level they were shown with. Thanks for any help. PG

If you have nightforce rings I believe you can order a new top that contains a bubble level. As far as the Surgeon rings go I would wait till next week and call Preston after he returns from SHOT and I'm sure he will have some sort of answer for you.

For $199.00 you could buy a nice set of Seekins rings ($119.00) which align pretty tight with the rail almost like Surgeons two pin idea plus a bubble level ($27.95) and still be $52.05 under Surgeons asking price for the rings that you can't get anyway. Be fore warned though even with the .97 high Seekins rings if used on a Surgeon action they still won't be high enough for a Nightforce BR.

So you have no idea how much they cost either? Guess I'll have to shoot them an e-mail then post it here.

I tried too, same thing. I shot them an e-mail so we'll see what they say. Funny isn't it that the price of rings are getting close to what we paid for scopes 25 years ago!
