Whats the craziest thing you have ever heard some one about a gun?

"Hey Lama! How about a little something, ... you know, for the effort?"
"There will be no money, but when you die, on your death bed, you will receive total consciousness."

Told ya. Hijack alert!

You are correct! I fixed it. I'm getting old . . .

Never found a shovel with a handle that would fit my hands.

Broom neither, for that matter.

Ticks the Missus off to no end.

Did you hear that the 6.5 creedmoore cured aids AND cancer??

It can also kill an elk at 10,000 yards. Just hold the crosshairs right at above his shoulder.

It will cure those issues only if you stand at the wrong end of it.
300 BO or Whisper runs rings around the Creedmoor. Sheer 30 caliber power.

of course the bigger bullet makes all the difference, especially since it gets fired out of an AR! That even beats a CREEDMORE! (OMG, what have I started...are there AR's in Creedmore?? dang it...I feel my 511's tightening up even now...)

actually my older brother has a DPMS SASS 6.5 CM with a Leupold 16X Mark 4 that is an awesome 800 yard gong ringer,,

I prefer whisper before everyone jumped on the bandwagon. ;)

Also, yes that 125 grain bullet, going 2,200 FPS will easily kill a bull elephant out to 1,000 yards. A 6.5 creedmore would be lucky to dispatch a squirrel at 25 yards.

Also, I don't even want to talk about the A Bomb, aka 220 grain subsonic. Well, everyone already knows about that, so we will just leave it there. :D

Odd I thought I thought it would work at that distance. You know cause a heart attack. :) Granted everyone knows a AK is the fun factor for killing squirrels. If you are serious about getting squirrels it takes a 30-06. Which is kind of odd because everyone knows a 223 is the ideal round for geese. ;)

Funny, you mentioning that. About 20ish years ago, a buddy & I...........

...well, this is a public forum, & I'd best just keep that one to myself. The goose cooked up really nice, though :)

I get a daily email, from Defense News Early Bird Briefs. Lets people know what is going on in the Defense community. One article was about the military looking for a new caliber to replace the 5.56/223 because it lacks killing power past 300 yards. At the end of the article, there was open comments for every fool to give their opinions.
First the 6.5 Creedmoor fanboys jumped out there, plus the go back to the 308 group, on to 6,5x47 and just to show their ignorance a surprising number of them jumped on the 300 Black Out because it was such a great round.
Reading and comprehension of the requirements went right out the door.

Back many years ago before I knew about 6mm BR com., I used to go to Snipers Hide and back then it was a pretty good place to go. So one day some guy joins and starts asking questions and it is pretty obvious he has very limited experience with real firearms. I am guessing but it seemed to me like he played a lot of video games. One day he asks if a bolt gun can shoot a 3 shot burst. I am thinking to my self he has never picked one up in his young life.
The the 270 Winchester ain't no good until past 150 yards, 'cause it takes at least that far for the bullet to get up to full speed. This from a guy that had a 110 grain bullet fail to completely penetrate the chest of a 100 pound whitetail doe at about 30 yards "because it weren't up to speed yet"...
