"There will be no money, but when you die, on your death bed, you will receive total consciousness.""Hey Lama! How about a little something, ... you know, for the effort?"
Beautiful! Love the way you worked that one into the thread.Well, the world needs ditch diggers too.
You are correct! I fixed it. I'm getting old . . ......on your death bed, you will receive...TOTAL CONSCIOUSNESS.....
I'm pretty sure that's how it went. Now...pick up that blood!!!!
Yes but a shovel can be a difficult tool to master.Well, the world needs ditch diggers too.
A guy at my range today was working up a load for elk out to 500 yds. He was shooting a 6.5 Creedmoor???????? How has humanity survived this long without that cartridge?
In Britain, someone skilled with a shovel is called a "navvy".Yes but a shovel can be a difficult tool to master.
Did you hear that the 6.5 creedmoore cured aids AND cancer??
It can also kill an elk at 10,000 yards. Just hold the crosshairs right at above his shoulder.

300 BO or Whisper runs rings around the Creedmoor. Sheer 30 caliber power.
actually my older brother has a DPMS SASS 6.5 CM with a Leupold 16X Mark 4 that is an awesome 800 yard gong ringer,,It will cure those issues only if you stand at the wrong end of it.
of course the bigger bullet makes all the difference, especially since it gets fired out of an AR! That even beats a CREEDMORE! (OMG, what have I started...are there AR's in Creedmore?? dang it...I feel my 511's tightening up even now...)

Also, yes that 125 grain bullet, going 2,200 FPS will easily kill a bull elephant out to 1,000 yards. A 6.5 creedmore would be lucky to dispatch a squirrel at 25 yards.
Funny, you mentioning that. About 20ish years ago, a buddy & I...........Which is kind of odd because everyone knows a 223 is the ideal round for geese.![]()
The the 270 Winchester ain't no good until past 150 yards, 'cause it takes at least that far for the bullet to get up to full speed. This from a guy that had a 110 grain bullet fail to completely penetrate the chest of a 100 pound whitetail doe at about 30 yards "because it weren't up to speed yet"...Back many years ago before I knew about 6mm BR com., I used to go to Snipers Hide and back then it was a pretty good place to go. So one day some guy joins and starts asking questions and it is pretty obvious he has very limited experience with real firearms. I am guessing but it seemed to me like he played a lot of video games. One day he asks if a bolt gun can shoot a 3 shot burst. I am thinking to my self he has never picked one up in his young life.
