The older RCBS -RS- & JR have a primer tray that actually works coupled with a good linkage makes these old presses very popular in my neck of the woods.

I've got a Redding Boss, and this thing spits primers all over the place. It's usually only by chance the primers end up where they should be.The Big Boss 2 work good keeping primers where they should be.
Agreed,I too have a RCBS JR perhaps 45-50 years of age, that came with a clever primer catcher shaped like a cup which wrapped around the area of the ram and would catch all of the primers. I do not understand why that was discontinued.
Mine drops all them down the middle of the ram and out the tube.I've got a Redding Boss, and this thing spits primers all over the place. It's usually only by chance the primers end up where they should be.
For this to work, you have to turn your ram around. It should solve your problem. https://www.ebay.com/itm/RCBS-Reloa...hash=item3b42a6ac6f:m:mwl_3gyZR93rvI6Fk-0UzxQ
You don't, at least as part of sizing. You can still use one of these. https://www.rcbs.com/priming/bench-mounted/16-9165.htmlBoyd,
If you turn the ram around then how can you prime with it anymore?... not that I ever do just asking.
