cheep press for decaping

I don’t know if it counts as cheap, but a Lee classic cast will do what you want. Great all around press.

This is what I use. Catches primers in a vinyl tube. I use it to decap all kinds of filthy cases. A friend shoots a lot but doesn't reload and he let's me pick up his brass on his private property. Some of the cases are partially filled with dirt. I soak them in a bucket and rinse and decap, residual dirt and all. The Lee press works great for me.

RCBS Rockchucker, "this" (http://www.primercatcher.com/) added, no issues!!;)
After wearing out a couple of Lee presses doing mil spec 5.56 and 7.62 brass, will never own another one. Same with TRYING to punch out crimped primers on mil spec brass. Their dies SUCK!! You spend more time trying to get the punch pin back in place when you could be doing something more fun. (like smashing your fingers):rolleyes::mad:

I use a Mighty Armory decap Die on all of my brass, from the smallest to the largest. It's one of those things ya just won't believe, Until you try one yourself. They actually feel like they have a built-in mechanical advantage, even on a Cheap Lee press, and they're unbreakable!
Call Wayne, he'll hook you up!

I must be either living in a bubble, brain dead or doing something different than others. I use the German's contraption and it functions well. If a few miss, I use a broom and dust pan. BUT, I never once cleaned out the inside of the ram on my Rockchucker and it works perfectly. What would be lurking in there?

I use the Lee C Press and decapping die, or a Sinclair small primer decapping die. For those who can't stand Lee products, Lyman has a nice C press I'm sure would work as well. I don't have to deprime crimped primers so I have never had a problem.
