What's everyone shooting this year for deer?

Depends on the state and season. Iowa I use my smokeless muzz with 327 gr parker moving mach chicken, lol. When able to use rifle I will use my 338 edge. Im also looking forward to getting one with my new Pierce Engineering action 6.5x47 I built myself. Both rifles have Thunderbeast suppressors on them. The 338 has less noise than an unsupressed 22 pistol and spotting hits is a breeze.

Indiana has a law where the case has to be shorter then 1.700 or 1.800 and 35 caliber. So they shorten a WSM and neck to 35 caliber. They call it a 358 Hoosier. Matt

Its just a 308 case shortened to 1.8 and necked up to 35 caliber to meet the rifle max and min for Indiana rifle rules.
And yes sir Arisaka users unite! Not to many of us out there.
What is your 220 built on type 99 or 38?

I am uncertain...it is highly modified and it was several years before I was certain what it was, but the chrysanthanum is still on it. that was the give-away. I always have trouble posting photos...sizing etc. see your PM

For muzzle loader season my savage 10ml-II thumb-hole laminate stock with a 300 gr barns bullet and 55 gr of N110,2200 fps. With a Leupold SA.B.R. scope on top.

Savage 22-250 with Swift Scirocco 75 grain bonded bullets. Oklahoma white tail and nothing larger. I know the 22-250 gets a bad rap for deer hunting but a well placed ethical shot will do the job.

I knew an old ranch manager that used to pile cow elk up with his .22-250 and 90 gr. Sierra MatchKings. Though not the best choice, he never had one get away from him.

Wasn't going to go out today, it was calling for rain all day. Started the morning off just goofing off here on the computer. I then decided that I wasn't going to kill anything sitting here in the kitchen, and grabbed the bare minimum of gear and decided to drive down the street over to a local farm and hunt until I was too wet to take it.
Long story short.... about 30 seconds out of the truck, I spotted a large doe bedded about 175 yards away watching me. I got down prone (laying in the mud and cow crap) and sent a 100 gr Barnes triple shock out across the pasture. Launched from a 257 Wby, the bullet gets there pretty quickly. She was bedded next to a stream and of course did a back flip down the stream bank and into the stream! Dead deer. Anyway, now I'm back home on the computer :)
Good luck to everybody,
Gary
