Depending on local wind conditions a .22LR for a good challenge (and rabbit hole to go down) or a decent .223 with Berger flat base target bullets to make you feel good.

Bet dats easier said then done.Shoot the smallest group possible. If you shoot 1/2” try for 1/4. Work on wind reading. Work on changing loads up and seeing what they do. If 100yds is too easy you can always go win a couple br matches to add to your trophy case
OffhandWhat would you shoot at a gun range/club if you were limited to 100 yards?
Im limited on my shooting and shooting a 6mm, 7mm, 6.5, 30 or anything else just seems like a waste of money at 100 yards.
Smallest I got to reload is a 20VT. I can develop a load for that and shoot, but Im scared even that will be stupid accurate and no fun at 100 yards. Kinda thinking a .22lr would be the best 100 yard challenge...
How do you think I feel. I spent almost 200K in rifles, scopes, rests, bullets, gas, food, registration fees, ect., and my portable lodging to compete in SR score matches in the last 7 seasons to possibly win a 5 buck piece of wood. A good portion of the shooting that I am involved with is at 100 yards and meters. You gotta want to do it. The people you meet and shoot against and develop friendships with are the biggest prize of them all.I just hate to waste supplies at 100 yards. Berger bullets and lapua brass is expensive to burn for short distance targets.
Google Wrist Rocket. Amazon has one made by Beeman that's close to what you're talking about.I've trying to find a slingshot like that for my daughter. WE had one just like that 40 years ago, but they are changed now and not to my liking.
