What was or is your most accurate 22lr?

To date, probably this Turbo with a RKS 30" LH GT 1:16, GT's chamber, sitting in a GRS, with a S3 perched on top. To most it'll make no sense, but at 50', a twelve shot accumulated score of .345" and a single best cap of .001" total runout.

PS ran an article on your club back in the day. The hot rigs were custom 40x / 52s topped with Unertl's.
That's great that the matches are still being run. Sounds like a lot of fun!

The good old NRA gallery gun!!! Springfield model 1922 with the Layman caliper rear sight with two apertures and hooded interchangeable insert front sights!!! Dual firing pin and adjustable headspace bolt!! That old girl loves only Winchester Super X copper clad Hollow points!!! She hates the much more expensive target grade ammo!!! She doesn't like being pampered with the finer meals!! Go figure!!! I'm keeping her!!!!

Same as Dave, 2500x put together by Alex Wheeler. I just got to test it once before life got back in the way but it shows promise. I have a second one in the works for the wife for “friendly “ family fun ;)ECFC5153-5312-439C-A3C0-DC165F4029D0.jpeg

Mine? Believe it or not it happens to be a reproduction 1885 Winchester by Miroku for BACO. I've shot quite a few .22s over the years and the accuracy of this rifle blew me away first time out. I just randomly grabbed a box of TAC-22 and wasn't expecting any serious accuracy.
The weather was calm. and I was shot at 45 yards. And after sighting in the scope with about 10 firings I was able to put the last 3 shots in one ragged hole.
I bought this particular rifle because if it's appearance. I love nostalgia, wood, and blued steel and couldn't afford an original 1885 in any kind of decent condition. This one had the look and being a .22 caliber I could afford to shoot a-plenty~!

An Anschutz that started life in 1977 as a 1413 "Super-Match". Today the only thing original is the Match 54 action, it has a 24" .920" Shilen "ratchet" barrel, RoTex stock, modified trigger, Sightron 45X45 SIII ED scope. The other is the first rifle I personally built completely from scratch - RimX action, Jewell 2 oz. trigger, 26" .900" Shilen "ratchet" barrel, KRG chassis, Sightron 45X45 SIII ED scope.

Had a Shilen octagon barrel installed on my B-14R action with a Jard 4oz trigger. Bug holes with ammo it likes.

The pic of the target is (4) 5 shot groups at 50 yds with some Lapua Long Range it likes.
