What was or is your most accurate 22lr?

They let you shoot factory class targets with a Vudoo set up like yours! I'm not trolling, I'm just jealous.
Great job!
Where was the match? Wind?
Guess my eyes are failing me because the paler targets at the top of post look like factory targets and different than the blue unlimited target. My bad for that and missing the word indoor.
I stand behind the great job part.
Sorry for the confusion Sir. The pic in question was just a printout of the targets and not to scale. It was an ARA Indoor Unlimited Club Tournament at Prairie Station in Mississippi. Factory class shot in the morning and us unlimited shooters shot the afternoon.

Here is a pic of one of the actual targets I shot. It's turned sideways cause that's how I shoot them. :)

Congratulations Jerry is this your first one?

We had near indoor conditions on Sunday, went 2400,2150 and 2300 for the match.
here is my 2nd target 2150 look at the first bull second row from left (I hang my target the same as you) I must have been tired from driving back from AZ never did that before thought that was a sighter two 5 shot groups. but what was more stupid on my part I got mad and shot the target as fast as I could. if I just stayed with my mental game that could have been 2300+ perhaps.
lesson learned. Oh, rifle was my 1411, picture is a couple years old, but rifle is the same as in the picture.
currently my most accurate rifle.

Thanks Mr. Lee!!!! Yes Sir, it's my first 2500. I had a very big smile on my face when I stood up from the bench.

I made a bonehead mistake similar to that. I've learned it's the choices I make when things are bad that set my course. And yes, that is some very good shooting you were doing, not to mention all ten shots of your mistake were 100's. LOL!

That rifle looks just as good as it shoots!!

Thanks Jerry, I would still be smiling had I shot a 2500! Great shooting!
The two 5 shot groups were two different lots I would have settled for a 50 instead of the 0 I got!

Pistol: Ruger Mark II bull barrel. Used mostly for ground squirrels out to 65+ yards.
Rifle: Nothing outstanding. Probably my Mossberg 340 that I had. I've still got my 640 22 WRM.

Most accurate I've shot was a Mauser Werke training rifle I shot as a member of the Police Rifle Club. Shot my NRA Expert with that. Had to fight to get it each week!

A little off topic, but I shot a friends CZ457 in MDT chassis at 50 yards/5 shots with the stock barrel and SK Rifle Match. Gun hammered that IBS bullseye. Can't believe it shot SKRM that well with stock barrel.

Johnathan with Modacan built me a .22 PRS rifle. I provided him with a Krieger 1.25" straight 1:16 twist and a Zermatt Rim-X action and he did the rest.

And…..I gave up chasing ammo lots for specific 22LR rigs. I have went PCP air rifle and am not looking back. I sold my 52WW, missed it some and bought a Bergara B14R carbon, thought it shot very good for a few years. Enter my step into air, no issue with thinning some stuff out to supply me with another air gun.
Me too. After fooling around with 7 or 8 Annies and a Vudoo, I'm kinda done with those. Rimfires are ok for plinking and hunting but way too finicky with ammo, barrel cleanliness, temperature, ets. They are like a woman. Give me air rifles anytime. I have some that will shoot one hole 20 shot groups at 10M and others that shoot MOA at 100 yards.

My most accurate 22LR seems to be a Winchester 52b I acquired a few months ago. At 100 yds scoped, off a good rest, with lapua center x and Midas +, and in minimal wind I recently shot a session of 14 five shot groups. Most of the groups were under 1 MOA. Best was .39 MOA. Worst group was 1.07 MOA. I’m just an above average shooter and that’s a personal best session for me.

My 52D is incredibly accurate considering the barrel looks like the inside of a sewer pipe. My new 457 MTR though is scary accurate with one ragged hole common at 50 yards and X-ring at 100. The CZ is a bit picky about ammo though. Some older lots of Lapua shoots shotgun patterns instead of groups.

With a rifle like that, you sould be shooting some Smallbore F-Class

My favorite for the last 3 years has been my CZ 457 VPT, but I've just recently acquired a new to me (and less than 200 rounds fired thru) CZ 457 MTR Varmint, that upon the maiden trip to the range, and without anything done to it, that I will eventually do, to test and try to get it shooting tighter, has nearly equalled, if not fully equalled, my VPT. This is without any tuner, and without testing different action screw torque settings, and with only 5 different brands of ammo shot so far. I may have a new fave, and I'm already considering taking it out to the next match to introduce her to the guys.
