What Scope do you use ???

I own three Sightron SIII's, two 8-32x56 and one SIII 10-50x60
Three Generation III Springfield Government model's all 6-20x56
Three LR Leupold's, 8.5-24x50, 6.5-20x50 and a 4.5-14x50
The SIII are my favorite, the Leupolds my least favorite.

I just bought my first sightron S111 6-24x50 last month, will not be my last..also have 5 leupolds + 2 zeiss ~Danny I also will be replacing my leupolds

Don't discard your Leupold just yet. My 3-9x40mm Leupold Rifleman scope is used for .243 Winchester Michigan Deer Hunting. My Nikon 4.5-14x40mm sits currently in reserve, and is highly viable. My Burris Signature Select 6-24x44mm resides exclusively on my .223 Remington caliber Ruger Sporter. These are each great in their respective useages. I'm delving into .30/06 Springfield prowess this summer: a first for me. Cliffy

I have a couple leupolds, a nikon, a few no name brands, and a couple super snipers. It really depends on how you want to shoot. Most of my guns are setup for point and shoot shooting. I have been known to bring out my LR guns and they have a Mark 4 and a Night Force on them. They do not come out too much.

My first "good" scope for shooting pd's was a 6/24 B&L 4000. I still think that is one of the clearest scopes for the money. But I too have luepys, sightrons and a Nightforce. I sure do love the NF, but kinda spendy. Next hi power pd rifle scope will prob be another sightron.

I find that my scope is generally set at the 15-17x pwr range, all dependent on conditions, mirage, etc..

I have a couple 5-20x Nikon Monarchs. I bought one and it was so sharp, bright and clear I bought another one. It is slightly superior to a Sightron II 6-24x I own, and that is saying a lot. I notice it every time at the range because our 200 yard targets sit back inside of a dark tunnel like enclosure.

In addition they track perfectly. For the money I think they are one of the best values on the market. I picked them up for slightly more than $400 at MidSouth when there were first introduced.

The only draw back is the Monarchs don't have a lot of elevation adjustment. But unless you are going past 500 yards or so you shouldn't have a problem.

Two Sightron SIII 10-50, one NF 12-42 BR, one NF 12-42 NXS, two Weaver T36, one 6-25 Millett LRS, one Leupold 10X Ultra M2a (human-ranging reticle) & one Lyman 25X LWBR (sentimental favorite). There are others but these are representative.

Most are used on crows but the Lyman atop a .22-250 Remington 788 accounted for many Colorado prairie dogs.

I have a Nightforce 12-42X56 BR NP2-DD reticle on a Cooper Montana Varminter .204 Ruger and a Sightron SIII 10-50X60 target dot reticle on a
CZ 527 Varmint in .204 Ruger. Cant skimp on magnification at long ranges.
I can always scoot it down in mag for closer stuff or for larger FOV.
Neat to shoot guns, still messin with loads, which rifle is more accurate etc etc

I've used Bushnell's Elite series, Buriss Signature Select and Black Diamond, Zeiss, Swarovski, and lately I've been using Leupold LR's in the 6.5-20x50 or 4.5-14x50 range depending on caliber and grade of rifle and can't say anything bad about any of them. I always believed that you got what you paid for. Apparently I've been spending too much money all together though and need to go buy a cheapy like everyone on here that's selling the high end stuff and switching to Sightron? Can't say I've ever looked through one but I've never even been asked to by anyone who sells them. I've seen them in stores but when I've gone to purchase and have been asked how much I was willing to spend I've always been pointed in a different direction. I guess now I have reason to seek one out?

I have 2 Huskymaws 4 Zeiss and 4 Leopold. I am about to replace one of the Zeiss with another Huskemaw, then I will take the Zeiss and replace one of the Leopolds with the zeiss.
