What questions to ask when buying a trued/blue printed Reminton 700

I am Very Respectfully requesting to know from you guys to know what to look for and what questions to ask before purchasing a TRUED/BLUE PRINTED/CUSTOM/or any other word that insinuates that a factory Remington 700 action has had work performed on it. I know this question has been asked before in parts and pieces but I am looking for what to ask a seller and if one is in hand what to specifically look for. If the barrel is removed. If the barrel is in place, just some key signs that would stand out for us new guys to purchase or stay away from and maybe some old school guys to learn from.

Thank yall very much for any replies to this.

Very Respectfully

I would want to know who did the work and can he prove it if the guy isn't known to you personally with a money back if there is something wrong or it had less work done to it.

Why not ask who the gunsmith was that did the work and then call the smith and ask him as he should have a record of what jobs he took in and from who. That would lead me to believe if the guy is of good character and of the smith.
