What Picatinny rail to get for FTR bipod mounting?

Hey folks, I need a short piece of Picatinny rail to mount my FTR bipod on a Freeland rail. I have some T nuts that I can use with the rail. However, I am a little confused as I dont speak “Tactical” at all and I don’t know if that “Mlok” thing will work for me that I see everywhere. I want a piece that is flat, not curved on the back side that will butt up agains my McMillan with Freeland rail. I have a quick detach mount that fits onto my Duplin bipod, but, having trouble understanding what to get for the rail. Mike

Have a look on Creedmore sports web site. I think they have them

You could probably contact Ernie Bishop (seb USA on here..and just get the piece of rail made for the joypod that fits into your freeland rail..last time I bought one it was $45

Or call Duplin and see if you can get the Freeland/Anschutz part ? That might be a better option unless you want the pic rail/qd for a specific reason.

I use aluminum rail sections from UTG - part #P501. They are 3.9 inches long, flat on the back and come in a 2-pack for a good price.

GG&G have exactly what you need. The 1242 T Slot Adapter. I have one on my XIT stocked Savage. It works great.

What? F-class?!!?!

It’s for days when I feel less manly! Just kidding, I have messed around with FTR a few times. That target seems to help resolve wind reading a little more than us “sling guys” targets. Don’t hate me! We have a club match once a month that is basically just the f class guys and while I could shoot my palma rifle in it, I have this Panda just gathering dust and I will never shoot a traditional stock again that I can see as all my prone guns are Eliseo chassis. So, I figured I can put it to use and bang away a few times a year.

Thanks to everyone except Eron (and I thought I could hide from my USNRT teammates here)! I got something that will work for me on the way.

Damoncali, to quick disconnect the bipod for easy storage in my truck when I go to the pits. I like to be able to put the rifle in the case quickly and take it back out.
