I'm one up on you - the plantation owns the one I'm abusing, not me.Knotwild why do you think I'm working on it now? We must have the same tractor driving style.

Thanks. Yep, 40"- 44". Don't want the handle to ride over the butt before the patch or brush clears the muzzle.Nice transformation. Do you really need cleaning rods that long?????
Well what good is a flatbed trailer without a big ole winch...12,000lb should be sufficient...
Picked up a like new 16', 10,000lb trailer for a killer price. (I am too embarrassed to post what I paid it is that damn low...LOL)
5 brand new tires, including the spare!
Winch is mounted. Just need to bolt on the control box and run the wires to the batteries. Got tired of working on it today...LOL
Batteries, with a cut off switch, will go in the green box.

Don't be afraid to modify it. I always try to use good ingredients, good bacon and I won't use the prefabricated andouille (Johnson's & similar) sausage, get some from a small local retailer. Be sure to turn the beans while cooking, that way you will just burp. I forgot to add the usual disclaimer, I'm not responsible if you make your self sick or over eat. My wife is taking another batch to a contest today. It's not technical, it's cowboy cooking. Just put on a big hat and go for it. Hint for success, serve 1 1/2 hours late, guest will be more hungry (starving is better) and you will get lots of praise. Thanks for that recipe. It is very similar to a recipe my mother had that I loved. I haven't been able to find her recipe, but I think yours is close enough to make me very happy.

Jim, That is how we live. My wife and I moved up here and bought a small cabin. I asked her if she was sure it would be big enough. She said yes and we moved it onto the property. During the winter she decided e needed more room. The following two years I dug a basement with my tractor poured the slab and laid block for the walls. Then built a 20x28 milled log cabin on top. We did all the work ourselves. Killed my back but we got it done.Over the last couple/three spring thaws I’ve built my mountain cabin, I liked it so much we decided to call it home.
I’m in about 40,000 cash, if someone doesn’t like the way I live I tell them I don’t care, don’t bother stopping by.
Looks different today...Baling 2nd hay cutting, like 100ac being done. So far behind that we are having to get the first round out of the fields while we are doing the second cutting. Had a lot of rain this year. Went back to raining before we got the first one hauled out after rolling, by the time the ground would hold us up the grass was coming back and we didn't want to rut up the meadows. Just picking it up as we do the last one.... John View attachment 1479771
Last laptop screen doesn't look anything like finished printer. Are you sure you're done?I recently bought a Prusa Mk4 3D printer kit to replace my older Mk3, which I gave to my son.
Building it yourself really gives an appreciation for how it works, and gives confidence that if I had to do repairs, I could.,but the old one never needed a repair.
box arrives.

Why buy a new one, when the old one still worked OK, that's easy, the new one has steppers with twice the number of steps, a new screen to control it and a bunch of other features. It's the newer better model, so I had to have it.
It works great, and my son is happy with my old printer, and is making good use of it.
