A 150g SMK started at 2800 fps has the same drop to 1000 yards as a 110g SMK started at 2900 fps.
We sure have,but I am still sticking with my 114 year old M96 . It still shoots great ,always loaded mild have never tested the upper limits.We've sure come along way these last 122 years!

With the short bearing surface of that bullet, I get almost the same velocity of the 142s in my 6.5x55 BJAI (2950fps).
Wade, What twist are you shooting them with? Just wondering if I should waste time/loads testing them in an 8tw.
