What kind of 10 shot groups are you getting at 600 yards ?

What about the scope mount has your eye. The one piece bases/rings were made by a very talented machinist in Washington state, we have lots of those here, named Marvin Pearson. Quality products that are no longer available. I have 2 sets for this rifle. A 1" & 30mm.

As with many in this game I mounted the scope forward all the way so I wouldn't wear it as I was shooting free recoil. Although during the group pictured I did whack myself enough to bleed. Lots of humor there. It may have been the shot that was out of the group. Although it is still a very solid mount and I don't suspect the scope mount as a problem.

I try to run my groups. I can't remember for sure but at the NBRSA nationals this year, I think I agged a low 3" in Heavy Gun over 6 targets. Maybe like a 3.2xx.

2017FCNMRMatch13.png One of my best. Not benchrest, but fclass. Just trigger puller with a BR wind coach telling me where to point during team match at just past MR Nationals. IMHO the most fun way to shoot. 223 Rem with 90vld and was not calm. 20+ shot string.

That’s cool to see there are a few shooters that go to Eatonville range on here. I have made it down twice. I shot my 30/28 Nosler once and the other time I didn’t make first relay and had to leave. Just moved closer to Kenmore and I heard there are a few shooters on here that frequent that range as well.

Rich usually works on 600 yard load development down at the Eatonville range.

Fireforming my 6BRA during a recent F-class match at 600 metres rather than yards. 13 shot string with Berger 95gr VLD hunting rounds and 29.5gr of RL15.

I hate threads without pictures so I thought I'd slap one up. As you can see this group was going to be under 2" but as usual I chocked somewhere along the line and pulled one to the right.
Hey Dan, Are you sure you didn't throw 9 of them left? LOL I got a hundred(s), I would trade in for that one. How 'bout those 5 just inside the 10 ring. Vert but still.......

I don’t have targets or pictures but I did my personal best at our Wisconsin midrange state championships on day one of a 2 day event. Fclass Target. 4 strings of 20 for record. 200-18x, 200-17x, 200-17x and a 200-15x total 800-67x. Had such a good feeling I decided to over consume some alcoholic beverages that I didn’t even place after my crap shoot on Sunday. Lol I’d say if you are shooting 2” 10 shot groups that is fine shooting at 600 yards. I’m not a BR guy though. I’m just an Fer

For myself ( a club shooter)I tend to look at my average for a given length of time or number of events. Hopefully I can continue to raise my average each year.
But to be brutally honest with myself I need to include the worst with the better targets.
That being said I'm probably at 85% maybe a touch more so that leaves much room for improvement.
Phones ringing- gotta go
I'm back
Here's an example-

Big D put on quite the show that day! Very Impressive display.

Thanks Marty. It’s one day where I felt I couldn’t do any wrong. Pretty easy conditions to run clean. Zach shot a Jr record on the same target I was on with a 200-18x with his 6br. It was a great day to shoot for the center that’s for sure.

Sad I missed that one, Big D...

Here's another that I shot with my new barrel during load development right before Fclass Nationals this year. 308, 200hybrid, 15 shots comparing two different seating depths at 600 yds. Likely the smallest group >10 I've ever shot. 3in xring for the nonFer.20180807_203006.jpg
