what is this stock? sorry no pic

So im looking at a rem 700 308 w/24" black heavy contour barrel and zeiss scope. Gun has the "j" lock on the bolt. My question is what is the stock? It is black with light gray or white spider web. It has a wide rounded forend but up on tapping the stock it sounds very hollow and like a tupperware stock. Doesnt look like a run of the mill paint job. Gun only says 700 308 doesnt say sps anywhere. It is a smoother paint like finish.

I have a vssf II with palm swell and this one does not have swell like the vssf

Take action out of stock. In barrel channel there will be a recessed mark, round = hs...oval = bc.
