I'm looking at getting a new stock for my Remington 700 .308.
Currently I have the Hogue Full bed block stock and it is great, but it's not adjustable and the grip angle is a little wierd for my hand. I'm looking to step up but do not want to break the bank (much). I want a new stock that is more rigid, and adjustable for me.
I'm looking at getting a Bell and Carlson A5 Tactical Medalist, but wanted to know if you guys have used it and have any opinions on it first. My primary use for the gun is prone target shooting, at some point I would like to get into F-class T/R competition and this will be the gun I use for that. I do also use this gun for hunting. I would look more at the HS and McMillan stocks, but they are very pricey and I'm trying to stay below $450 or so (I've found this stock for $400).
