The top view photo doesn't appear to be a 3 inch forend. If it is the barrel channel would have to be >1.250.

Im sure it is. I have one with a 1.350 straight in it with plenty of room

I know its one or the other. Like you said though it has too defined of a grip to be a lee six

Ok so I was off on width micrometer says 2.25"

I'll stand pat with my McMillan Hunter BR. As I said above, it didn't look like a 3 inch stock. You could see too much of the forend that was not tapering towards 3 inches wide.
