What is the reason

I see so many Night Force scopes for sale lately (think 18 months) ?
Is everyone moving up or down from a NF ?

likely just statistically the main brand more people happen to own, therefore will be higher numbers of same for sale.
20 years ago we would have seen the same statistics with majority of scopes for sale being Leupold

1. NF is one of the most used scopes.
2. Some of those are the Bench Rest models, and might be moving up to the Comp.
or trying another brand. Lots of good high end scope out there.
3. Might have wanted to try a particular reticle and didn't like it, now trying another reticle.
Shooters like to try different things. Always looking for that perfect scope.
NF is still the gold standard.

i watch for them on here and havent seen all that many. they hold their value well enough and can bring a decent enough price that sometimes people use them as a kind of trading stock . Nothing wrong with NF to me. i still need a few more which ill buy according to my cashflow.
