Howdy All,
I am new to this forum and I found this link below while searching Google for answers to bumping the shoulders back on my 22-250 brass. I decided to join this forum too.
http://www.accurateshooter.com/technical-articles/die-issues-when-bumping-shoulders/
I read the article several times and I am really not sure how to solve my problem. I have a Redding FL sizing die that does not size the neck.. (#75106 Body Die Category I) I really have no need to resize FL since I shoot a bolt action, one at a time from the bench only.
First Quesion Where can I get Harrell's collar? I have never seen one for sale. Is it available for sale somewhere?
Second Question.... after I explain some info.
In the very last paragraph at the above link, I tried backing my die out 1/2 turn from shell holder, (ram UP). The case sized down only .001 about 1/2" up from the base but no push-back of the shoulder occurred. So ... remembering I only want to bump back the shoulder on my several times fired cases, and not really want the case FL re-sizeed, what can I do to achieve this result?
PS. I also tried the cam-over thing. It only bumped shoulder back a "shaky" .001 at the most ......... and it of course FL sized the whole case which I do not want to do.
Thanks in advance , Indy Bob
