What does it take to disintigrate a 180 hybrid?

I'm preparing to do load workup on a new caliber for F-open. Before I start, I'm hoping to learn from the experiences of others.

In an 8.5 or 9 twist barrel, how fast do you have to go to take the 180 hybrid apart during hot and heavy F-class?

Hi Keith
Never had a 7mm 180 hybrid or VLD (even the oldthinner jacket) blow up.
I have had them up to 3150 with zero problems, I do not shoot at that speed in competition for the record, however have tested multiple strings in hot weather. This was a 7mm boo boo, not a recommend choice for F class!
Now the 195, that is a different story!

I doubt in any of the current popular F Class chamberings you could blow up a Berger.
One of my clubmates was playing with his 7mm Jacko (BooBoo) on the weekend and managed to destroy some 175SMK's, here's a video

I know many 284 shooters....most run 8.75 tw.... never heard of any trouble with 180 hyb! In fact they have been kicking my butt!

Just providing a link for informative purposes to a post where someone apparently did have an issue per the OP's question. I don't personally recall ever hearing about anyone else that had this issue with 180 Hybrids either.
