Ryan, I like that 6.5 Saum you have. Sweet little rig! I'm thinking of buillding a 6.5 for deer/hog hunting myself.

Elk #3 for the season but 1st for 2017. It was 1 degree yesterday morning and made for a brisk hike. Remington 700 SS LA with a 26" Brux #5 in 300wsm nestled in a McMillan Game Scout and Cerakoted Sniper Grey. It shoots 215's at 2950fps with R-26.

Got this buck on New Year's Day on some private land near Macon, Georgia. I forgot to post it since I've been back to work unfortunately. Nice 8 point, but he broke his rack running through the thick woods. Another kill with my custom AR. I have 3 more custom bolt guns in the chute by the same smith, and one aero precision AR10 as well. Can't wait till they are done!!!

I think our bucks had the same dad. My bucks rack looked just like that before he broke it in the woods.

I'm surprised mine didn't break his. After he ran 20 yds he fell over and his rack connected with a log in the water.

Thanks Jade. Youll like the saum. Everything the 47 does but with more speed. The new batch of brass from hornady is really good. I built my fiance and I one for our wedding present to ourselves. Im going to engrave the date on the barrel as soon as our deer season is done this weekend. Ive already killed 7 deer with it in the last couple weeks.

Just found this thread. Got this decent 5x5 last fall with a 7mm WSM and a 154 Interbond at a lasered and GPS'd 660 yds. Great bullet, BTW.
