Something you never thought of is H 1000 with 50 to 60 gr pills. You will get a big surprise. Mine has a 28 in tube. Start low and work up. Just my two cents. Tommy Mc. 1x12 twist.

I loaded H380 which loads easy and is cool burning. I dont remember the grains but i kept it slightly under 4K w/a 40GR VMax. It shoots comparable w/the 20 calibers, like a ray of light. LDS

22-250 case has 43g water capacity
220 Swift has 48g water capacity

So it sure can be
This was a aha moment . I burned a 22-250 out in 3000 /less rounds. New a guy who claimed he had 10000 rds and it was just fine. Then he put it on paper @ 100yds, he next started the process of putting a new barrel on it.

I can't remember any internet conversation about a 220 Swift being shot out.

I've seen very good results with the 50 and 55 grain flat base Sierras and Varget, H4895, and H414. 3,600 - 3,650 fps is plenty fast for me and accuracy is good.
