What powder and barrel length? That's over 300 fps more than I'm getting with 55 grain Blitzkings in a 25" barrel.6 Dasher, 24" 8 twist 58 V-Max @ 3980 fps
Zero exit holes.
bullet spinning @ just under 360,000 rpm.
If you were going out this morning to call a couple coyote sets, what caliber with what bullet are you taking? Just answer with the caliber and bullet. No discussion, no opinions why. I'll be taking my 22-250 pushing 52grn Speer HPs.
If you like the lighter bullets, another scorcher that delivers devastation is the 62 Barnes Varmint Grenade. I use IMR 8208, Fed Match primers.Whoa !!
This is very interesting, just how fast is this load and would you please share your recipe ?
I like going fast too. My favorite at the moment is the 58 V-max out of my .243 Win. The "problem" with my fast load, and the 55 Blitz King out of the Dasher is that, while they are devastating close-in and require very little holdover out to a few hundred yards, once you get out past around 400-500 yards, the BC on those bullets takes its toll when compared to 75 V-Max, 87 V-Max, the new ELD-VT and such - let alone your target-weight bullets. Might also consider the 75 V-Max with Rel.15, if you have some on hand. I'm guessing you might, as a Dasher owner. Good compromise of speed and BC. Tack driver in two of my barrels (1-8" TW.)Whoa !!

I run the 62 ELD-VT out of my .22 Nosler at a speed probably 200 FPS less than you do. I have never shot a varmint bullet that delivers the destruction on squirrel-sized critters as this bullet does out of my .22 Nosler. I'm guessing it is even better out of your rig! My first trip out was "holy smokes!!!"22-250, 1-8 twist, with 62 gr VT
