We’re being invaded!

Here in central Orygun on the high desert, we'll only have 37% coverage. No biggie for us, we'll be in the field for our annual Rat Rodeo, so when it occurs, a slight dimming of the sun, the rats go down for six minutes, then it's back to normal, and rats WILL fly again!

I've never understood why these events are such a big deal to so many. I've seen two total eclipses here, it got dark then light again. Wow.

Was listening to one of the talk radio shows last night, and a few of the callers had traveled all over the world to view past eclipses, and were doing the same for this one. -- often mentioning "religious experience" to describe their feelings.

I guess we've always known that humans are pretty weird, and the ordinary ones seem to be getting less common. jd

Well, change of plans !! Going to do ribs instead of the butt.
Brother found a Trader Joe's over in Ohio and snagged me a
bottle of their Siracha sauce. It's a little thinner then the original
Rooster Sauce, but man does it taste about the same. and about
a third in cost. Picked up my contribution this morning......Headed
back out to the butcher's and get me some brauts to give this
sauce a proper test......

It' no big deal this will be my 2nd or 3rd. eclipse. I think the last one was 2017, the next 2035. I live near Cleveland it's in the center of the path which is probably 1000 miles long. Don't know why people want to view it in a big city. You can pull over to the side of the road or a parking lot anywhere to watch it. It's 4 hours start to finish. I'll be on my computer doing genealogy and peak outside at 3:15.
