I think the year would be relatively important. The world's coming to an end. I read that in a book somewhere but forgot the year and I think it coincides with an eclipse.
It' no big deal this will be my 2nd or 3rd. eclipse. I think the last one was 2017, the next 2035. I live near Cleveland it's in the center of the path which is probably 1000 miles long. Don't know why people want to view it in a big city. You can pull over to the side of the road or a parking lot anywhere to watch it. It's 4 hours start to finish. I'll be on my computer doing genealogy and peak outside at 3:15.
I have to make a new hat! Should I use regular tin foil or the heavy duty? Are there good plans for one somewhere?I'm all set........found my Y2K tinfoil hat and a can of Bud Lite hiding in the back of the fridge!![]()
Very well said. Sometimes I feel like " Holy Crap where did all these freaks come from" ..........uuggghhhh.Was listening to one of the talk radio shows last night, and a few of the callers had traveled all over the world to view past eclipses, and were doing the same for this one. -- often mentioning "religious experience" to describe their feelings.
I guess we've always known that humans are pretty weird, and the ordinary ones seem to be getting less common. jd
LMAO.....I will just use the old pie plate I used last time......now where did i put it?I have to make a new hat! Should I use regular tin foil or the heavy duty? Are there good plans for one somewhere?
We’re dealing with a generation that had their noses buried in their cell phones. They’ve been raised by the internet!Very well said. Sometimes I feel like " Holy Crap where did all these freaks come from" ..........uuggghhhh.
These days ya need to go full on heavy duty. -- Maybe incorporate a little chicken wire for shape and structure. jdI have to make a new hat! Should I use regular tin foil or the heavy duty? Are there good plans for one somewhere?
Ahhhh yeah I think I got it but should I use the heavier foil for extra protection.....I really want to stay safe. These days ya need to go full on heavy duty. -- Maybe incorporate a little chicken wire for shape and structure. jd

Kerrville Motel 6 is getting 800.00 and Days Inn is 999.00 for one night. RV spots are 200-300 per day.
