How much???I’d wager that Palmetto Armory buys the ammo manufacturing.
How much???
100 million. - what PA will pay. I’d wager a cold beverage.
Pretty sure they went the auction/asset sale route so the buyers will face no legal liability since the Remington corporate shell remains behind with all the nasty liabilities including employer benefit plans and possible litigation payments. After all this will the Remington brand be scrapped so as to avoid the Sandy Hook law suit? I guess that the brand could go through a couple of owners and come back the same gun as a Remington with another name. I'd buy one if the new company was named after Mike Walker.
Ah. So I put 2 and 2 together and got 1 1/2? At least I got right that PSA is owned by a company that bought somethingPSA is owned by JJE that bought DPMS, H&R, AAC, Stormlake and Parker. Not the ammo company. If the above list is correct.

There wouldn't be a shortage if people wouldn't hoard the stuff. Why does anyone need 25,000 rounds of .22 LR ammo? A box of 50 would last me 3 lifetimes. Do some people really think that they are gonna hold off a National Guard unit just because they have an AR-15 and 5,000 rounds of ammo for it? With Remington's luck by the time they'd be ready to go all out the shortage will be alleviated. Probly can't find a sucker to lend em the $$$ to buy raw materials.
There’s going to be a lot of sad core-lokt deer hunters.
