Welcome to the Reloading Forum -- Introduce Yourself

Travis from south eastern Iowa
An avid hunter, and family man with a love for the outdoors. I have just discovered my passion for reloading. I look forward to learning from you folks

Hello, I'm Erik from Michigan. Still gathering materials and equipment to get into reloading. Looking forward to learning and contributing where I can!

BlueWater, here. New to the forum.

Have been shooting for a bit more than 30yrs. Haven't shot a rifle in a decade, but have just put together a new rig.

Rifle & Scope
Savage 12 Long Range Precision, in 6.5mm Creedmoor
Athlon Cronus BTR scope, FFP, I.R. mil reticle, 4.5-29x56mm

Working with a friend to get up and running with reloading. Did a bit 20+ years ago but since then have only assisted now and again.

Looking to learn much about optimal accuracy from the 6.5mm Creedmoor cartridge and quality reloads.

Hey there,
my name is Joerg and I'm from Germany.
Three years ago, I was starting long range shooting in Poland. We don't have ranges for this in Germany.
My first LR rifle was a Rem 700 in .300RUM. For now, I'm using a .280AI, amazing!
I'm looking for somebody, who can help me with my 6.5x55AI project (and maybe to move to the US ;-), even for compatitions).

Drawings, data (pressures max., loads, speed mesurmants, historic documents ... everthing) about the 6.5x55AI (Arch, BJAI)

Can help to orgnize trips for cometitions in Europe, especialy Poland.

Regards from Germany
Joerg
P.S. sorry for my rusty English ;-)

Hi guys.
I’m new to this forum. Living in Darwin and currently have a CZ 457 in .22, a SMLE in 303 and a Frankenstein Mauser K98 in 7x57.
Looking at reloading both 303 and 7x57 with currently good results on the 303 and issues with the 7x57.
Cheers
Tim

Hey folks! Relatively new shooter (1 yr), and handloader. Loading 6.5 Creedmoor, 223 Remington (AR-15.) Later looking at .380 auto, 9mm 38 special. Not looking to go match accurate or anything crazy, just trying to develop sound loads that can be relied upon in the real world of hunting and self defense.

My rig is a RCBS Rebel Master and all the goodies. I have a Caldwell chrono and access to an outdoor 100 yd range...hopefully 200 and 300 soon. Lots of good stuff here I can see, which is why I signed up. I will ask lots of noob questions which I am sure have been answered before - just give me a cyber slap and point me to the link and I'm down with it.

Thanks for having me

Hi again! Trying to find out how to start a new thread. Usually there is a "new thread" tab or something - what am I missing? Also could anybody point to a "definitive noob to reloading / reloading for dummies" thread? I am sure one is out there. Thanks

My name is Walter Buchert, I have been shooting in the 1000yd Benchrest game since 1988. For everyone out there, yes I am old. Have been devoting countless hours for years striving to punch 10 little holes in a piece of paper. Some would think that I am completely certifiable but they don’t understand. The people on this forum do.

Hi to all,

I'm from Italy, with a Tikka T3x Tac A1 in 308 winchester.

New to competitions. I'm trying to learn and improve myself, having fun.

Thanks for admitting.

Hello everyone, newbie to the reloading world but been shooting/hunting for 40 years. I recently aquired a 3D printer so i been working on automating my LEE Loadmaster.

Hi all Thomas from Houston Tx been shooting hand guns for a lot of years, nothing serious but having fun. Picked up an FNH A5M spr in 2010 and did not know a hell of a lot except that was a good choice for a long gun. Heard about 6.5 creedmoor so I got one and was told I would get better results if I started hand loading. Stumbled on this forum doing research and it seems more like the kind of place to learn from as there is a lot to digest. I try not to ask stupid questions and my main interest is long range precision and accuracy. I have more time available now as I turned 64 and want to garner more experience reloading and increasing distance. Thanks.

Hi to All, Guy from Rocklin CA glad to finally join! Began hand loading for 280 Ackley and 6.5 Creedmoor last year and have read dozens of threads and learned a lot of useful info to supplement the information gained from reading the reloading manuals I own. Had good success with the handloads I worked up last year, looking forward to learning more and improving ES and SD. Will try not to post the Nth question on a topic and search dillegently before posting. Thanks

Greetings, Kenny here, I have gained so much knowledge from this sight. I am new to reloading and every bit of info is valuable to me. Have a new Howa 22-250, 50 and 55 grain hornady vmax, with H380. So far the 50 grain bullet and 38.4 grains powder seems to be best for my rifle. Oh 1- 12 twist.

After lurking for a while I finally decided to show up. I've only got back into the shooting sports and reloading after a 20 year hiatus. A lot more information out there than I ever imagined.
I am up in the Great White North well at least part way up now. I used to live up in the Northwest Territories where I first took up the sport. It was quite a chore to get reloading gear up there. Now in southern Ontario, Canada. I get very anal about my reloading and I'm a real gadget addict, much to the chagrin of the spouse.
Dealing with the idiot in charge of the country has become a big concern for our sport. Just hope we will be able to have the recreational shooting in the future.
