Welcome to the Reloading Forum -- Introduce Yourself

Hello to all,

I am happy to join the family. I am relatively new to reloading, carrying on the tradition that my big brother had taught me some time ago. I have been shooting for years, but just recently lost that brother and shooting partner to cancer and wanting to reach out to others who have a similar breadth of experience as I enjoy the discussion and am happy to speak to and learn from others. Thanks for having me and I am looking forward to reading the articles in the forum. I shoot pistols in most common calibers (9mm, 45 ACP, 44 mag), 5.56 (AR) tactical training and 6.5 Creedmoor for long (for me) range. Glad to be here.

Hey guys... my name is Wade Rush, I host the Bubba Rountree Outdoors channel on YouTube. I figured it was about time for me to hook up with you great folks!! Looking forward to meeting y'all...

Hi all, only been hand loading for 1.5 years but went wayyyyy down the rabbit hole last year when I started shooting 600 and 1000 yard F-Open last year. Starting PRS this year. Looking forward to learning much more here. Great forum!

Hi. I've been reloading for 15 years - mainly 223 for an AR15 with 24 or 26" barrels.

Because I reload for competing in 'across the course', I'm only look for 1/2 to 3/4 MOA precision.

Greetings! I've been reloading for about 6 years. .223 & 6x45 (for XTC matches), 9mm, and .45ACP. Bought an Eliseo 5R chassis a few years ago, and will be finishing-up that (hopefully) the year, so another caliber to the list, but I'm not sure which one yet. Leaning towards 6XC or 6 CM.

Hello from NYC,

I was tossed down this rabbit hole by a friend last year and got the hook set. Unfortunately Covid took him so I am waist deep and head first in the hole. I have all of the equipment & enough components to keep me shooting for a bit. I have general process knowledge & started loading up some test loads this week & had a great time going bang at the range yesterday )). I hope to absorb some more knowledge here. I promise I won't start an oil thread. ( motorhead also :))). Shoot Straight

Hello friends! Finally joined up. I've been handloading for 8 yrs or so, and have a passion for center-fire rifle loading. Deer hunting here in the hills and hollers of Tennessee has led me to the inevitable path of reloading my own ammo. I hope to be able to contribute to the forum from my limited experience. I've been frequenting Dead Zero Shooting Range nearby and trying to develop loads for my 300 WinMag Sendero and Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 CM most recently. (Hey Russ!) Anyway, glad to be on here with like-minded people!

Long time member here but I have never posted anything. I just sit back listen and learn. Here lately I have some questions I would like to start a thread and ask but I cant figure out how to start a thread. I know it sounds stupid but Im just not that well versed on a computer. Any help with that would be much appreciated. Thank you

Been here for a while, just never introduced on this thread. From Eastern Kentucky, used to shoot, reload, and build (if you can call piecing rifles together today building still), a lot until I took over as chief of local volunteer fire department a few years ago. Wife's grandma got sick, I hated my job and got an out with severance and was able to watch the kids while wife helped take care of grandma. Now that grandma is in nursing home, have sold a few things I never used to extend my pseudo vacation and actually shooting again. I guess I'm lucky that when I put a rifle together I'd get enough consumables to burn out the barrel, but last 8 or so never got a round through them. So able to get back to the swing of things, reloading wise, without having to worry about consumables. Hadn't realized how bad things had gotten, knew it was rough, but getting active on forums and just watching my old reloading supplies websites and what little they have... Anywho, just waking the baby to sleep and rambling. Just figured I would introduce myself, after 5 years and 11 months...

Edit: I reload for all my bolt action rifles, from 223 to 338 Lapua AI and everything in between. Bought stuff to reload 9mm but never did any, only pistol caliber I reload is 44mag (mainly because I have a Ruger deerfield I love to see how far I can hit off the iron, 400 yards so far, 500 yards went all around the target but never actually hit it but was within inches, just something about the diamond/post ruger irons actually allows me to do decent with irons). Do everything on single stage presses, except for decap and a couple other minor things I use a turret press for, and use AD FX120i I get really anal with charge weights, picking a single kernel out with tweezers type of anal.
