Welcome to the Reloading Forum -- Introduce Yourself

Hello to all,
New member but have reloaded for several years. Started with the standard hunting rounds 30-30,30-06 etc. As more rifles were added seem to be headed to chamberings that require handloads. These include 280 Ross ,300 Newton,7X61 S&H , 22 K Hornet , Savage 22 HP and 303 Savage. Looking forward to exchange of information and the chance to aquire more knowledge and hopefully contribute some.
Joe

Hey all - newbie reloader, just started this year, focused on reloading for my AA 6.5 Grendel, but going to start working on .223/5.56, 9mm and maybe .45. Good info on this site.

Realitively new to 600/800/1000 shooting. Have built a 6BR and a 6.5X47 Lapua. Shooting 80gr Bergers in the BR and 120 Sierras in the Lapua. Limited wallet so just looking for some load data for both. 1000 yd much later, but 600/800 is real close now. Would the same load for the 120's work for the Sierra 123's? Anything on 130's for the Lapua would be appreciated. The BR is built on a blueprinted/trued 700 action with a PacNor 3 groove, 12 twist, 27". The Lapua is built on a Savage Target action with a Lilja, 8 twist, 27". Would appreciate any info you might be willing to pass on...
Thanks,
LngDzTnzs

G'Day All,

This is Blockhead from beautiful Brisbane, Australia. I shoot .223 Tikka T3 Lite in Stainless synthetic and reload my own ammunition. The rifle is a 1:8 twist allowing me to use heavier pills (up to 75g). I shoot goats, foxes, wild dogs and the odd pig.

I look forward to enjoying the discussions and tapping into the experience of the members of this forum.

Joe, Grendel,LngDzTnzs, and Block head,

Hello I been reloading for a while but I find this forum to be the best one yet, very good information. I load for myself and friends, I load 22 Hornet, .222 Rem, 22-250, 204 Ruger,.243 Win, 7 Rem mag, 30-06, 7mm-08 and 300 win mag. I plan to buy a 6 mm Br next and I am leaning toward a Savage model 12.
We are planning our first trip to SD to try our hand at prairie dog shooting.

Hello everyone. Been reloading since 1992 mostly for hunting and handgun target shooting. Recently started trying for the most accruacy I can; neck turning and sizing, arbor press dies etc. No custom gun yet, but have a .308 T/C Icon that shoots very well and a Contender carbine in 7-30 waters. Also building a few AR15's in 223. Right now I am looking for a Ball powder that might give me better accuracy than Varget. I am getting about .5-.75" at 100 off sandbags. I am pretty happy with that, but hate metering the Varget. Any suggestions??

Anyway, great site.

Hi guys! I've been following this forum for quite awhile. Felt it would be a good time to join up. My interest in varmiting has been taxing my skills in attaining best possible accuracy. I find THE BEST info here. Logically expressed & of measurable quality. Thanks for letting me be a part of your world :) Presently reloading for .357Max, .257bob AI, 6Rem AI, 22-250, .223rem (bolt) & 6.5X47L. Build in progress is 700 Rem S/A in 6BR. Also rebuilding a fire damaged J.C. Higgins mod. 30...... Does that count?

Newbie here. I did some reloading decades ago and just getting back into it again for shooting a .375 Cheytac I just bought. Long ago, used to shoot small bore competition, 4 position, still have my Anschutz 54, model 1413 with 20x Unertyl. NRA life member.

New poster here, I have been checking out this site for awhile and figured I better introduce myself before I start posting. This site seems to be a very educational site as well as the Hide inwhich I frequent also. Well hello and have patience with the questions.

Hello all,
Been reloading now for about 2 months, i really am enjoying alot, working with a AR-15 1/7 twist, 100 yrd to 500 yrd shooting, now studying how case weights effect groups, very interesting.

Hey all, new guy here from central ohio, discovered my new hobby of NRA Highpower last year, got a reloading setup and trying to learn everything I can!

Hello I am Troy. For this site you could call me pure novice/ amature. With my friends or at the range I can hold my own. Small Town small Range.. ::)
I just my first post and then saw this. So HI
I have been reading this site for several months now.

Welcome Troy. I'm with you on the small town shooting range. Lots to learn here. I don't plan on competing but a little reading here has made come of my groups a lot smaller.
