Good day everyone, I'm new to the forum as well as reloading. I got a small setup that I've been having fun with. I've been reloading .223, 22-250, 9mm, and 243 and am having loads of fun.

Been working primarily with the 22-250 though. Doing regular stuff but also got into using Blue Dot to develop reduced loads due to the versatility of the 22-250.

I'm shooting a Howa Hogue Kryptek Seracote with a 1:12 twist and have been doing quite well.

I look forward to leaning a lot of information on here. I'll probably do more reading than commenting.

Hello and good day to all! I have been reloading for about 30 years. I owned and operated a gun store in California back in the 90's, and enjoy giving and receiving knowledge. Although I have less firearms now that when I had the shop, I still reload for everything. Currently working on loads for my remington 700 with a heart bull barrel chambered in 7mm-08. have had good results thus far getting .75 groups at 200 yards. I'm not sitting in front of my load book, or i would share the data. look forward to chatting!

Matt

I currently load 220 Swift, 243 Win. 257 Robert Improved, 30/30 Win. and the old and true 30-06 Springfield and also 12Ga. Being retired and fixed income, I don't shoot as much as I once did.
The fun before retirement and ridicules price increases try, try, try to find that one perfect load.
Never happend. did you find it for one of these calibers?

Hi Guys,

Been lurking here for quite a while and finally decided to join. I'm 63 and have been shooting since about 7 years old. Worked for 7 years in a gun shop in Cleveland back in the late 70's (Cleveland Custom Gun Shop), but been a diesel mechanic for 42 years. My love for the shooting sports includes everything from plinking with my pellet rifles to blasting out to 500 yards with my AR10 and M1A. I think the thing I love most though is the reloading aspect of the sport and could spend hours in my reloading room.

Hi I'm Roy and I'm from SE Louisiana. Love the very informative site here. I currently load 270, 7mm08, 280 Rem. 22-250 and 243. I'm in the process of building a 6BR. Thanks for having me!

Newbie to competitive long range shooting and now newbie to reloading. I'm currently shooting a new Savage 12 F/TR in .223 and reloading the Federal Gold Match ammunition I have shot once. My conundrum is neck sizing the brass to adequately hold the bullet. I am using Redding competition dies. Neck sizing the cases according to directions, .001 to .002 down from the measured case neck size in the loaded round has left me with a goodly portion of the bullets able to slide through the case neck. I need some guidance as to how far to downsize the neck and have adequate bullet neck tension, without overtightening. One test I have read about is to insert bullet into prepped case and then push it against the bench and see if the oal changes. I have had to size way down to get anywhere near that spec, and then with a bullet impact hammer it will take 5-6 good whacks to dislodge the bullet. This seems to me to be too tight. Any advice and guidance welcome.

Hello - Terry McCoy here from Kensington, MD. I have been reading the forum and site for several years now and enjoy learning about reloading and shooting. I am currently shooting vintage sniper and long range matches, and loading my ammo.

Slim from Idaho here. New to reloading but have been paying lots of attention. Just started reloading for 260 Remington. After a couple days of following the tricks the experienced shooters here use, I was able to do this today!
