Welcome to the Reloading Forum -- Introduce Yourself

Hello from Germany.
I´m working as a forester, so hunting is one of my duties.
Been reloading a few years
Welcome Frank, glad to see the site becoming more global. Enjoy the wealth of experience from the members that are here. I'm still amazed and humbled at the amount of knowledge and willingness to share said knowledge. Chuckhunter.......Chuck Loebsack

Hi- I'm new to reloading but I find it an interesting rabbit hole. I am doing it because I bought a Tikka T3 HB 6.5x55 off a guy who had the chamber altered by a gunsmith to specifically fit the Berger VLD bullet. He said that to truly use this rifle to its potential, I will have to reload for it. So, I am getting into long distance precision shooting at the same time!

I also shoot .40 S&W and it seems to be hard to find sometimes and is kind of pricey. So now I get to continue not saving money, but shoot more! :D

hello, Being anew member I will say that I am 60 yrs of age and tell you that I enjoy shooting everything I have ever picked up.I started shooting & reloading at an early age(before I was old enough to drive).I own only factory firearms, but enjoy them very much as shooting/reloading is my only hobby. I go by Rob or Robby. My favorite rifle is a Les Baer, and I am kinda partial to 1911,s & Ruger single actions. Looking forward to being a member. P.S. Need all the help I can get. Robby

Hi, Paul from Buffalo,NY. I've been handloading with just a Lee Loader kit for my rifles (30-.06, 25-.06, .308) for over 40 years now. I just got my CCP for pistol and purchased a couple of .45s. I'm thinking about a Dillon press as I don't think the Lee Loader kits are as accurate for pistol.

Hello All, I'm looking forward following the topics on this forum.

I shoot F class mid-range with a stock 700; except the for B&C stock and Jewell trigger.

New member here. Randy Ashley from DEEEP South Texas. I have been reloading for 40 years off and on. Getting pretty active again and currently loading for .223, .22BR, .25-06, and .204. I have always been partial to the smaller pills. I look forward to learning and sharing when I can.

I am a long time lurker who has spent years reading and learning from this site and who finally decided to sign up. I have been reloading since the 80's, recently started competing locally in some PRS style matches and have gotten hooked. I just re-barreled a Stevens 200 that was worked over by Kevin Rayhill with a 6.5x47 Lapua Criterion barrel and have started load development for the upcoming season. If anyone shoots in the northern Illinois, southern Wisconsin, or east central Iowa area perhaps I will bump into you.

Hi, having taken retirement I have more time to pursue my shooting and hunting and that has lead me straight into reloading. Finding AccurateShooter.com is a godsend -- I'm grateful that so many members share their expertise.

My reloading will be mostly hunting-oriented. I have an older 270 Browning A-Bolt and a new Sako 85 Finnlight in 7mm-08 that I'm handloading for.

My deer hunting takes place each November in the Adirondacks where my brother has access to some nice land. Since I'm in Michigan and like to drive across Ontario to New York I have for many years kept my 270 in New York to avoid cross-border hassles. That made it easy but pretty much meant I shot that rifle very little. I'm an avid squirrel hunter with a .22LR but I really thought I should shoot more with the centerfire...

Then my bro surprised me with the Sako this year as a B-day/Xmas present and I resolved to bring the guns home and shoot more seriously, which lead to an interest in accuracy achieved through handloading.

I've gotten started with a Redding Big Boss II, Master Hunter die sets for 7mm-08 & 270, RCBS 750 electronic scale, Mitutoyo digital caliper, Redding tickler, etc. I also have learned (mostly on this site) about Base-to-Ogive measuring and have the Hornady comparator sets with the OAL gauge set for each caliber.

Well, sorry for running on...I have a million questions and may ask a few. Thanks again to all who contribute their knowledge.

Can't remember my old username/password so started fresh .... handle is Swamplord on the Long Range Hunting forum as well, my interest was mainly in big cases and large capacity wildcats and have done a few dozen over the years, mostly for long range hunting purposes, have a couple more coming up and pretty excited about finally building my 375 Warlord and 416 Destroyer 'cats off the 585 Hubel Express case, But ...Now I'm finding myself looking at building something a bit more tame for comp use and am back to learn all I can !

Ed Hubel here- Posting about our cartridges
I'm the guy who helped spread the word about the 12ga From Hell,
And a lot of other wild ass big bores and guns. One we developed
was my 585 Hubel Express, with good supply of cases, barrels of
cases, barrels, and dies, along with lots of load testing data. Ed

Hi all, I'm amazed by the wealth of information here and have spent days going over the archives. Looking forward to learning more in the future.

Hi All... I'm from Alberta , Canada and currently a bit of a mid-bore guy. I load for several calibres from .20 Tactical up but now concentrate on .338-06, .35 Whelen ai and 9.3x62. I Look forward to learning and sharing on this great site.

Greetings:
I am a reloader (9mm and 380) and have a lot of reloading gear. However, because of a divorce I need to get out of the business and need to sell all my stuff. Be glad to send pictures (not real tech saavy) I feel I have everything that an active reloader would need including a steel cabinet (lockable) to store it all in. No reasonable offer refused! Can someone help me out. (214) 636-8812 gary.don@att.net

Hi all, my name is Cush. 67 years on earth. Just started reloading for my Rem 700 5r. I am hoping there are some experienced precision reloaders on this forum that can answer some newbie questions:) Also hoping to have 6.5 Creedmoor built some day.

Watch out for the Glock Bulge brass. Most dies will not remove the bulge and a badly bulged case may cause your gun to jam. Mainly happens with 40S&W cases only.
Thanks for the heads up on the Glock Bulged Brass issue. I've been watching for them closely. I've also had problems with my Wolf 9mm barrel in in my Glock 23 jamming, failing to enter into battery and ejecting with reloaded ammo.

My S&W M&P 40 is not so picky in 9mm or .40 S&W. So, I guess I'll be getting rid of the Glock 23 and buying a S&W M&P compact.

good day Jim Higgs here from Stickney,SD been a reloader for about 40 years.I shoot 2 6.5-284 rifles a Cooper model 22 and a Rem 721 I had built not very happy with this one for years, also varmint hunt and competed in rifle silhouette for many years, great forum
