Weaver varmit reticle

Has anyone had any experience with the weaver varminter reticle in the grand slam series? I have used the fine cross hair model and have been happy with it but once you use a varminter reticle cross hair's are old fashion. I am open to alternate scopes .tia

I had that reticle in a V24 scope and really liked it. It is great for prarie dogs and range work cause the small dot doesnt cover up the target, even at longer ranges. It is a very fine reticle though.
