best sightron reticle fclass

I am going to get a 10 to 50 sightron and wanted opinions on the best reticle for FClass -cross hair -cross hair with target dot .I always have mill dots on my other scopes which ultimatly ends up like a cross hair in the centre anyway so maybe the mill dot ?? advice please

Hey BURL - I'm running a Sightron 10-50x with the 1/8th MOA Dot & fine cross-hairs on a .50 BMG Imp. FCSA Match rifle for 1000 yd comp. - I really like it. - As well, I have a few scopes with the Mil-Dot ret's. - In my mind were we are shooting competition at known ranges & known size of target & rings the usefulness of the Mil-Dot is not really helpful. And many have cross-wires that are thicker than I really like for optimum aiming point accuraccy resolution.
I choose the Sightron as a "back-up" scope for several rifles in the 4 classes we shoot in FCSA - But in my mind (at least at this point) the 10-50x Sightron is surely in no way under-classed. I really like it a lot and was very suprised at the optical clairity & resolution it presented. And I'm using NightForce & March Scopes that I'm comparing it too. - I'm not here to tell you that the Sightron is as good or is better than the others etc. - I like the 1/8th Dot (My 2 cents)

Second on the 1/8 dot on the 10-50. Really gets you up close and personal. Really love my Sightron too. Only scopes I will buy now.

Guys thanks alot for the comments .I am about to make the purchase and was unsure between a cross hair and target dot - the retailer also said most were buying target dot so that settles that .Many thanks
