Weaver T-series?

Just wondering which model you guys that have these scopes prefer. Do you like the "Fine Cross Hair" or the "Target Dot" reticle?

They both are nice I have each. I have a slight case of double vision that blurs the crosshair so the dot for me.

;D

Yea I was wondering about that. It seems like the dot may be a little easier to see after a longer shooting session when the eyes start to fatigue.

I have two T-36s. They both have the fine crosshair with target dots. The target dot made it easier for my aging eyes to place surgically on target. The two scopes are now in storage as I don't use them any more. They did a fine job until I decided to upgrade.

That's good to know I think Ill go with the target dot. It seems like it would be easier to keep yourself on target easier keeping the groups smaller. Wouldn't want to sell one would ya ;)

I had my T36 modified with a 1/2moa dot so accommodate my old eyes. BTW, the T series have the most reliable elevation and windage adjustments and that comparison includes Nightforce and Sightron.

I'm going to agree on that last bit. That was one thing that always amazed me about these moderately priced scopes; how reliable they were to dial back and forth between 300 and 1000 yards and firing lines in between. I placed little stickers on the elevation dial for each yard line and twirled away. I have Nightforce and March and their adjustments are not any better than the Weaver's. Or maybe I should praise them and say their adjustments are just as good as the Weaver's. I think Weaver calls it "Micro-trac" or some such.
