Just curious who here has an admiration for watches?
I myself have several Casio G-shocks that I wear on a daily basis and am always looking for good deals and sales on them.
Speaking of I’ve always admired and wanted to own a Richard Mille watch and today I finally got my break and found one at a significant discount. So I splurged and bought myself the 60-01

Remarkably the most accurate watch I’ve ever owned is a $33 Timex Quartz Indiglo that has been consistent within 3-5 seconds a YEAR. Honest.

If you are looking for a very handsome, thin dress watch that can be found under $100, look for the Orient Capital Quartz. Orient is owned by Seiko. I have rose gold plated versions both white face and black face. Simple, but flawless. Faceted tapered Dauphine hands, older style domed crowd, extremely thin Case body. Gave one to my nephew as a wedding present.

I have a dozen other watches, self-winding and electric — genuine dive watches, digital watches, chronographs. But this is the one I choose when I wear a suit or tux.

Casio solar atomic is the most accurate I have as it gets its signal every 24 hours.

Agree with Forum Boss Timex all the way.
I had a Sieko lasted 17 years then just plain wore out, no new works to be had, now it sits in drawer.
Suarer atomic lasted 3 years, in drawer.
Invecto 2 years died, in drawer.
Other than those 25 years I always wore a Timex from 5 years old on (69 now). My mother worked at Timex for 42 years here in Ct.. and when we were kids she used to get test watches for free for me they wanted to see if kids could break them. We couldn't. Most of mine were Disney series that I saved in a box after I was done with them. When I got married my father threw most of my stuff out, watches. 2 shoe boxes of baseball cards ( 1 box of just Yankee cards) think mid 50's to mid 60's, some old one of a kind toy fire trucks, everything that would be worth a small fortune today. He also tossed my Daisey pump BB gun and my crossman break barrel pump.
Sorry I strayed but as for watches for everyday wear and abuse can't beat a Timex although they aren't made here in Waterbury anymore.

I was a hands on builder. I broke at least 2 Timexs a year. My wife got me a Tag Hauer with the saphire crystal. It’s lasted 30 years!

I like Rolex, Breitling, Tissot, and Tag Heuer. I have a few of each. My everyday wearing watch is a Tag F-1. I rotate the Tissots too. I have a few Torgeons as well. Nice watches, low price point.

Tag Heuer for dress but I really appreciate the 70’s Seiko chronographs. Have a 6138 Bullhead and a 6139 “ Pogue”. Love that vintage look.

Rolex is my daily driver. 31 years now. 1992 Breitling Jupiter Pilot and a spiffy looking Monte Blanc for when I get dressed up.
