That's the kicker, NO.Don’t mean to jack the thread, but dear lord, N140 is $100 cheaper than Varget??? I had no idea. Thanks!
Is it as temp stable as varget?

Those and I was wondering about N530 , I suppose if I saw some I’d grab it to test.I'd say N135 and N140 probably straddle it, kind of like N140 and N150 straddle Varget. It'll vary a little depending on specific lots, etc.
Which VV powder is the closest to H 4895 ?

Laurie,Monte (@memilanuk ) has it right - it's straddled by N135 and N140. Again. don't believe burn rate charts where N135 is shown as 'slower' than H4895, even 'slower' than VarGet in some charts.

for a range test in 223 Rem vs H4895. Note comments on N135's low bulk density / high fill-ratios, burn rate, and how far out QuickLOAD v.3.9 predictions are for QL users.
Viht N530 is a strange powder with by Viht powder standards a very restricted range of applications. I've only rarely seen it work well in any of them. In bulk form, it was Viht's original powder for factory 55gn M193 5.56mm military equivalents. Viht has discontinued this grade, and few will miss it.

Had good luck in the 204R with N530.I've ran varget in my 204r for ever now and have been curious as to N140 or maybe N130.
I’ve got a jug of Accurate 4064 to try with 105 type bullets in the 6br sometime because of this.Guess I am not the only one tired of the price gouging going on.
