vudoo v22s Single shot stock recomendations

What is a good stock recommendation for vudoo single shot action with a Shilen ratchet 1.2" dia straight bbl. I will be shooting 50 yard benchrest and NRA rimfire f class?

thanks

Why does a non-recoiling .22 rimfire barreled action require the sophistication of a centerfire BR/FO rifle stock? Couldn't the rimfire action just as well be bedded to a good solid 2x4? Just asking.

I went with a Cerus FTR *and* a MCM F-Class.

Once my Cerus gets back from bedding I will compare the two to see which I prefer.

I am digging the Dillon blue MCM though.

It actually is more critical. A rimfire bullet is slow in a long barrel so the stock straightness is even more critical than a centerfire. In a one piece rest it will recoil 3-4” according to the rest setup

I bought the Stock from Urban Rifleman . The Revolution 3" benchrest stock .
I'll let people know how it works out

I put my first V22S into a McMillan Kestros stock as a compromise for use in both 22RF BR & F-Class prone matches. So far, all I've used it for has been informal BR shooting here on my own range, mostly with a PQP one-piece rest with fuzz button top. If I were to shoot an F-Class match, I'd probably buy something like a Sinclair F-Class bipod or go with a more sophisticated joy-stick bipod. The Kestros would be fine in this application, and I've been pleased with it while shooting off the rest. But if I were going to be shooting nothing but BR, I might consider buying a laminated stock designed specifically for BR.

No one has any love for the McMillian heavy BR stock with the Vudoo single shot? With a 3" fore end rail allowing for both bipod and front rest possibilities?

Dusty;
Are you referring to a CF or RF having recoil of 3-4" in a 1 pc rest?

I have a V22-S in a Edge stock, and use a 1pc PQP joystick rest, with a recoil "bungee" cord set up, I have 1-1'5" of recoil, if that. I haven't measured the amount of movement from recoil. My set up is for RFBR only, and very happy with it. I wish I could read the wind well enough to match the gun's capabilities. LOL

Without the bungee is what i was referring to. Danny alluded that a rimfire doesnt recoil so tracking isnt important. Even with the bungee it still needs to track
