I voted last Friday. Lady said turn off your phone and get your ID out. I said "ID? Do you think I'm here to vote.? Guess who laughed and guess who got Trigger Tech'ed? It was funny as heck..

I went to vote early today and when they asked for a photo ID, I handed over my Concealed Weapon Permit. The look on her face was priceless.

Utah has mail in ballots. The signature is matched to state records each and every one. If no signature on ballot it is not counted. They count the mail in ballots as they come it.
Our concealed carry permits have a passport quality photo on them.

Kind of pulled the same "oops" when I voted first time Karnes County, TX in Primaries.
Lady put it in the reader, got read and ID'd me and said this would work but do I have a drivers license? Realized my error, I apologized, and then she thanked me for having both.

A little OT but, use to have a Guy come up from San Francisco to get his vehicle serviced because it cost less. Would take him down to the Court House and drop him off. He would spend his day in the Law Library. Go back in the afternoon and pick him up.
Went to pay his bill with a check but didn't have his Driver's License with him.
Gal taking the $$$ didn't quite know what to do. He finally pulled out his BIG inside jacket wallet with his FBI badge. No more problems or questions whenever he came in.

Thinking the other day, my signature SUCKS but as long as I pay the bill, no one cares.
