That's what I'm thinking ...Maybe a shorter version of Weatherby's new 6.5 rebated That's 2.5" long.

Being laid up recovering from an injured knee, I dont have much going on right now, so I watched the video. Its basically one guy is an average reloader, the other two are average shooters. It seems as if its all of their first time venturing into wildcats.

I think the new round goes 3 FPS faster then the Swede. so it is a monu-mental improvement

Yeah!!!! I have two 6.5-284s, 4 Swedes and a fifth custom 6.5 x 55 in the works.. I’m not buying it even if it’s 400 fps faster!

Honestly I'm sure it would be a fine hunting round, but everything about this "launch" is lame.

The "Bitch Cat" name is cringeworthy though.

On the bright side, with that BC name out there, I now don't feel so bad about having a Creedmoor and a "Gay Tiger" in the arsenal.

I would have been partly interested in a 6.5-300PRC: resurrection of the old 264 Winny in a modern case design with ADG or Lapua brass available. Not that I'd buy one, just that I'd follow along and cheer for the big numbers it'd generate over a chrono.

Will they release dimensions or anything so we can see what it is? Because it sounds an awful lot like they essentially copied either the 6.5 PRC or the 6.5 GAP 4S depending on which case head they started with.

Its all according to how accurate you need it to be. Most hunting rifles never see 50rds in a lifetime
