On the slow pour thing, here's a tip. It's a pain but I transfer to a long skinny test tube first. This helps me lay it on it's side and get them coming single file.

For drop tube material, I have been using this from amazon-

The end you put in the thrower or funnel ream to a very gradual inside taper. For the case end, run an appropriate size end mill to mimic the neck and then the correct shoulder angle for the case your loading.

Thanks for the tip. Having a lathe should make turning the various correct sized ends a breeze. Just ordered the tubes.

Put a fine wire spring inside the drop tube. That slows the flow of powder and the powder packs better.

I used to settle Palma charges (Varget, 50 at a time) by placing cases in a 50-case holder then holding a piece of plexiglas over their mouths. Hold that case holder against a running vibratory tumbler for 20-30 seconds, loads dropped enough to seat w/o crunch.
