Yes -I’m looking at these also, particularly with the use of JB bore compound. My question is, can you pull them back-and-forth inside your boar, in a scrubbing motion, without the felts falling off?
I use them almost exclusively for my Win 52's and BSA MKII. Use them with regular cleaning and then again for Bore Paste getting rid of carbon rings.I've used cleaning felts in a match grade air rifle, but have never seen them offered as part of a gunpowder cartridge cleaning routine.
Seems reasonable to me. Might make a logical product line to go along with the Otis cleaning kits.
I use 224& 6mm work great. Really goodI have used these in my .22 LR pistols and rifles for a couple of years. They work really well, but a little expensive.

Which adapters do you have/use?There are different types of adapters, so the answer would depend on which one you were using. VFG has its own adapter that features a retaining nut that can also be used to tighten the fit of the felt pellet in the bore. Others are made with a combination of a smooth section and a threaded section behind it so that the front pellet will drop off at the muzzle and the one behind it can be drawn back down the bore. https://www.google.com/search?q=VFG...fVnIjcAhUBlawKHWtiBRMQsAQIcg&biw=1232&bih=595
Where in the USA are you buying those other adapters that your wrote of?
been using them for about 12 years. Only thing I use in my Tubb other than a Iosso nylon brush. Simply amazing and even reusable (sorta) if you squeeze them in a papertowel then toss in a nylon mesh bag and toss in washer !!! Mostly I use the "2nds" in my old hunting rifle.
I do/have... but I only use them on nasty carbon layered barrels.Have you tried the intensive felts?
Check with the pellet/air rifle companies. I got some .177 felt pellets for my pellet gun from one of them, I can't remember which one.I have used them for years with JB. I only wish they had pellets and a Jag for my 17 HMR.

You can get airgun cleaning pellets from the major airgun/competition shops: Airguns of Arizona, Champions Choice, Champion Shooter, etc.
