While having my morning coffee today, I opened up the local paper and behold......a sight dear to my eyes:



Not too often you see your favorite varmint staring at you first thing in the morning, and in the paper nonetheless. It appears the local paper here knows what's important to the locals.....myself included.

That's in today's issue of the Bend Bulletin (Bend, OR). They have an online edition, but it's really referring to generalities, no mention of what we like to do with the critter.

Our interest in the rockchuck is a world away from what the tourists and yuppies have.......
