If the lot # is 7061 you have a slow lot.

Bought 2, 8lb. jugs today. Can't find the lot number on them. Have they changed the marking somehow?
Yep that is about the time I bought that jug. From the first picture I read 8# jug

Would be nice to see a picture of your labels. it is possible that there is no lot # on the container. here are three 8# jugs of Varget. Two of them have no lot number. Look to the left of all three back labels. Two, center and right, are blank.
The pic shows exactly what mine look like. No data in the space provided. I do have the orange tag, but not sure if it is the lot.

I’m shooting a slow lot in my current BR 30gns doing avg 2811 but it’s the most accurate load I’ve had yet..The orange tag ends on 7061. Guess that's the lot. Well I have 16 lbs of it, so if it is slow, I guess I will be doing load testing again. Lucky for me, I still have 3 lbs of the old lot number.
I had to load almost a grain more powder to get the same velocity of the older lot I was using but not getting the same accuracy. My barrel doesn't like the new powder. It seems to likes a quicker burn rate. How much slower you talking?
Brian,
Give to me and I will test it against mine.
