It is far more than cameras. Every door, every window. HB2118 in Washington state. I'm from Illinois and I hope the fat man in charge isn't listening to Washington's legislature.
All the democrat run places are into copy and paste legislation now. Just a matter of time.

Walked into a small local spot today--One lb Varget $52 He had a fresh 8 lb with $350 on the lid--I Always ask about cash price--got it for $350 out the door
Federal SR match primers $105 regular CCI 400's $80 Guess he knows sweet deals on reloading drive some foot traffic---
Listen to sweet deal for $350 I must be nuts--No wait--my 6BR is the one amazing rifle I have and it uses Varget to make me smile

$437.00 for an 8 lb jug at Cabela's in Centerville (Dayton) OH

Yikes!
A couple weeks ago it was 379. Overnight Cabelas prices rose on all powders. I haven't bought any varget in years but I check cabelas for XTPs all the time... good sale on the 230 grain 45 ACP XTP right now. Cabelas held out longer than most places... but it was eventually going to happen. I think people are going to regret holding out. But I'd love to be wrong.

Who is actually making the money?
Follow the money if you’re looking for a solution.
Is the government? How? Increased tax like cigarettes but that’s usually the state mostly way more than the feds.
Is it the powder companies? Whores like the electric companies? Captive audience. No where to go.
Who is making the windfall?

State of Washington is trying to pass a new law/reg that will require FFl's to install security measures that will be such that even the largest, deepest pockets cannot possibly afford to install them. The idea, apparently, is to make it financially impossible to do business in the state of Washington. Check the videos by "Washington Gun Law" for the details.
Yes - those are California tactics - no mail order ammo, paying for background check just to get ammo - then adding special taxes on anything firearm related, make it difficult for gun shops and ranges, etc.

Still $44 at lgs. I'm sitting on a pretty good stash, but looks like I need to go get what he has! They making them air rifles look better and better!
